WHAT IS DIRTY ELECTRICITY?
The term DIRTY ELECTRICITY refers to erratic surges and spikes of electrical energy traveling along power lines and building wires, where only standard AC electricity should be. Dirty electricity is ONE of four types of EMF pollution now common in homes and other settings. It is also known as electrical noise, line noise power line EMI (electromagnetic interference), and microsurge electrical pollution.
Dirty electricity is created by modern electronics, appliances, energy-efficient lights, and many other devices that run on electricity. Why? These processes interrupt the smooth flow of standard AC electricity, creating harmonics and erratic spikes of electrical energy known as voltage transients. Once created, this unusable "dirty electricity" spreads throughout a building and even to other buildings via wiring, power lines, and other means. As it travels, dirty electricity radiates potentially harmful electromagnetic fields (EMF) into environments where we live, learn, work, play, and more.

IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
Plug-in dirty electricity filters are not always compatible with solar energy systems and the storage back-up units they use. Check with your solar system manufacturer before installing Greenwave filters.
Greenwave filters and other dirty electricity filters that utilize capacitance technology should NOT be used in buildings being powered by a generator (for example during power outages). If you have a generator to provide electricity during power outages or at other times, UNPLUG dirty electricity filters while the generator is operating to avoid possible damage to your generator, filters, and/or other equipment, appliances, and systems in your environment. The filters can be plugged back in when your home or building has returned to grid-supplied power and your generator is no longer running.

Had repeated trouble with some or all of the micro-inverters (1 per solar panel) not reporting their condition / results to the system’s controller, even though they were obviously producing. Definitely a communication problem — ie: interference on the power-line commo between them and the solar system’s controller. Plugged in a Greenwave filter next to the house’s breaker-box, and the problem improved. Plugged in another: Now ALL micro-inverters are reporting, and have been reporting all day every day for 2 weeks. Bought the EMI meter and measured the difference — no filter = over 1900mV noise; one filter = 180mV noise; 2 filters = 94mV noise: this IS more noise than ideal, BUT the resultant Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is good enough to have solved my problem. So, I am buying 2 more filters (to put on certain circuits inside the house) and see if that gets the noise down into a 25mV-50mV range,

My husband had a blood pressure that was higher than it should be. We tried everything but couldn’t get his blood pressure any lower. We installed the filters and put the wifi in a faraday cage on a power switch to turn off when not in use. His blood pressure came down to normal. Replaced an analog style washing machine with one of the new “efficient” digitally controlled ones. Unfortunately the washer shares a wall with my solar panel inverter and smart meter on the outside wall. this was causing the washing machine cycling and monitoring sensors to malfunction. It had been repaired several times thinking it was the equipment malfunctioning until it was discovered it was the electricity. We were having to run an extension cord to the other side of the house to get the washer to work properly. Tried various things ferrite rings of various mixes, power conditioners etc. These helped some but did not correct the problem. Tried the Greenwave filter this morning and the washer had a clean run. The rooms that I thought would be bad (because of technology) weren’t, but rooms like my bedroom in close proximity to the outside meter had very high EMI readings. I bought a Stetzer meter and both Greenwave and Stetzer filters. The Greenwave filters work a little better than the Stetzer filters based on my tests. I recommend people to buy meters and filters so they can be sure they correct their houses to be safer. I was not aware of the dirty electricity issue until just the last few months. Your health may be suffering for lack of knowledge and action on this issue.
