GREENWAVE INTERNATIONAL, INC.
Terms and Conditions

Filter Disclaimer and Customers Satisfaction Guarantee

Our goal at Greenwave International is to reduce the overall level of dirty electricity (a.k.a. electrical noise, line noise, power line EMI) on the wiring in buildings (e.g., homes, schools, businesses). Greenwave filters target erratic electrical energy (i.e., harmonics and voltage transients) on building wiring, which is one potential source of RF radiation in buildings. They do NOT eliminate the extremely low frequency (AC 50/60 Hz) fields emitted from wiring and electrical devices, and do NOT filter ambient ELF, RF, or microwave frequencies directly from the air. While some scientists have shown improvements in health when dirty electricity is reduced in buildings, and many individuals have reported such benefits anecdotally, Greenwave cannot guarantee health improvements from the installation of Greenwave® filters.

It is important to test the electrical circuitry of a building for wiring errors before installing any sort of electronics and other electrical devices, including Greenwave® filters. We advise that you check for wiring errors and correct any problems identified before installing Greenwave® filters. Wiring errors can cause electrical hazards in homes and other settings, and can also create very high magnetic fields in buildings. These magnetic fields can be amplified when any devices, including Greenwave filters, are plugged into outlets.

We also recommend that you plug electronics and other devices (including Greenwave® filters) into outlets or power strips that are at least three feet from beds, desks and chairs, and other places where you or others are stationary for extended periods of time. Six feet from beds is preferable.

Do NOT plug Greenwave® filters into electrical outlets that are incompatible with the AC voltage (V) or amp (A) specifications shown on the back of the filters.  Doing so may damage the filters and will void the filter warranty and 60-day money-back guarantee. If your electrical system uses direct current (DC) rather than alternating current (AC), please contact Greenwave before purchasing or installing filters.

Greenwave filters deploy capacitance technology to "short out" dirty electricity traveling along the wiring in buildings. Some battery-charging devices are not designed to work with high capacitance technologies. Therefore, battery chargers, back-up power supplies, and electric devices that include built-in chargers (such as electric toothbrushes and razors) should not be plugged into the same wall outlets or power strips as Greenwave® filters. Similarly, these items should not be plugged directly into Greenwave® filters that include an outlet at their base. In addition, Greenwave® filters are not always compatible with solar energy systems and the storage back-up units they use.  You should always check with your solar system manufacturer before buying and installing Greenwave® filters.

For Greenwave® filters that include a built-in outlet at their base:
The built-in outlet in Greenwave® filters can be used ONLY when the filters are plugged into outlets that are compatible with the voltage (V) and amp (A) specifications shown on the back label of the filters and ONLY with electrical devices that are also compatible with these specifications. Also, as mentioned above, do NOT plug battery chargers, back-up power supplies, or electric devices that include built-in chargers (such as electric toothbrushes and razors) into the outlet at the base of a Greenwave® filter. Doing any of the above may damage the filters and will void the filter warranty and 60-day money-back guarantee.

If you are not completely satisfied with Greenwave® filters, you may return them to Greenwave International within 60 days of purchase for a refund or credit.  A 5% restocking fee may be imposed on all returns, unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect in the product or a shipping error.  For detailed information about Greenwave's return policy and related requirements, refer to the "Returns" section of these Terms and Conditions.

Broadband EMI Meter Disclaimer

The Greenwave® Broadband EMI Meter can be used to measure dirty electricity on AC circuits with voltage anywhere from 100V - 240V. Do NOT attempt to use the meter to measure dirty electricity on circuits with voltage outside this range. Doing so will damage the meter and void the warranty.

Also, do NOT exchange or adapt the cord/plug that came with the meter in an effort to make it fit non-standard outlets in your environment (e.g., special outlets required for some large appliances such as ovens/ranges, dryers, and electric water heaters).  These non-standard outlets typically have a higher voltage rating than the remainder of a building's outlets.  Attempting to plug the meter into non-standard outlets will damage the meter and void the warranty.

Compatibility

Greenwave® Dirty Electricity Filters:
Do NOT plug Greenwave® filters into electrical outlets that are incompatible with the AC voltage (V) or amp (A) specifications shown on the back label of the filters. Doing so may damage the filters and will void the filter warranty and 60-day money-back guarantee. If your electrical system uses direct current (DC) rather than alternating current (AC), please contact Greenwave before purchasing or installing filters.

Greenwave® filters deploy classic capacitance technology to "short out" dirty electricity traveling along the wiring in buildings.

The built-in outlet in Greenwave filters can be used ONLY when the filters are plugged into outlets that are compatible with the voltage (V) and amp (A) specifications shown on the back label of the filters and ONLY with devices that are also compatible with these specifications.

Greenwave® Broadband EMI Meter:
The Greenwave® Broadband EMI meter can be used to measure dirty electricity on AC electrical systems/circuits with voltage anywhere between 100V - 240V. Do NOT attempt to use the meter to measure dirty electricity on circuits with voltage outside this range. Doing so will damage the meter and void the warranty.

Greenwave® Filter Warranty

We offer a one (1) year parts and labor warranty on Greenwave® filters. The warranty is limited to defects in manufacturer workmanship or material that may impair the equipment's performance.
No warranty is given for damages caused by the purchaser or by external wiring issues. Greenwave strongly recommends that consumers test the electrical circuitry of a building for wiring errors and correct any errors identified before installing Greenwave® filters. Also make sure that Greenwave® filters are compatible with your electrical system before purchasing or installing them.

If repair or replacement of one or more filters is necessary within the warranty period, purchaser must contact our customer service department ([email protected] or 1-800-506-6098) detailing the request with information including model, serial number, and a copy of the original purchase invoice. Equipment is to be shipped prepaid to us according to provided instructions. Once we receive the damaged equipment, it will be inspected, repaired as needed or replaced with new merchandise, and returned to the purchaser via standard ground shipping. Our goal is to insure that you are satisfied with your purchase. We will give top priority service to all warranty requests.

The foregoing obligations are in lieu of all other obligations and liabilities including negligence and all warranties, of merchantability or otherwise, expressed or implied in fact or by law, and state our entire and exclusive liability and buyer's exclusive remedy for any claim of damages in connection with the sale or furnishings of goods or parts, their design, suitability for use, installation or operation.  We will in no event be liable for any special or consequential damages whatsoever, and our liability under no circumstances will exceed the contract price for the goods for which liability is claimed.
