EMI (Dirty Electricity) METER
For measuring dirty electricity on circuit wiring
We highly recommend using a plug-in dirty electricity meter (such as Greenwave’s Broadband EMI Meter) to guide filter installation. The meter can show BEFORE and AFTER measurements and help you determine the best number of filters to install in each room and the best combination of electrical outlets to choose for installation. The meter can also help you identify sources of dirty electricity in your environment and avoid issues (such as resonance) that can occasionally arise during filter installation
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dirty electricity (DE) is one of four different types of EMF pollution commonly found in homes and other buildings. For a variety of reasons, most meters designed to measure other types of EMF pollution (i.e., AC electric fields, AC magnetic fields, and wireless RF radiation) are generally NOT effective for measuring dirty electricity. This is often a point of confusion for individuals who try to use these types of meters to measure dirty electricity (and the effects of DE filters and other DE reduction strategies), and don’t see the results they expect.
