Organic foods, natural personal care items, “green” household products, air purifiers, water filters, and many similar choices are more popular than ever.

At Greenwave, we believe a CLEAN ELECTRICAL ENVIRONMENT — one low in EMF pollution — is another important piece of the healthy living puzzle.

Our mission… Helping people create healthier spaces for living, learning, work, and more. HOW? By offering products and tips for reducing unhealthy DIRTY ELECTRICITY and other types of EMF pollution in homes, schools, businesses, and other settings.

What is EMF Pollution?

EMF pollution is potentially harmful, man-made electromagnetic energy created by modern electronics, appliances, lighting solutions, solar power systems, wireless devices, and more. Four different types of EMF pollution have become common in buildings: 1. AC electric fields, 2. AC magnetic fields, 3. DIRTY ELECTRICITY (our specialty), and 4) radio frequency RF radiation, also known as wireless radiation.

We can’t see or smell EMF pollution, but it is now all around us — at home, school, work, and other settings. Unfortunately, a growing body of scientific evidence points to concerning connections between this type of pollution and a wide variety of health problems, such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, memory loss, ALS (i.e., Lou Gehrig’s disease), autism, ADD/ADHD, sleep disturbances, allergy symptoms, muscle & joint pain, and much more.

When we founded Greenwave in 2009, we had one overarching goal in mind… Helping people create healthier spaces to be in.

We believed then, and even more strongly now, that the physical places where people spend time – home, school, work, etc. – play an important role in health and well-being. Healthy spaces can contribute to good health, while unhealthy spaces can have the opposite effect.

We understand that many factors influence the “healthiness” of homes and other buildings. Our work centers on one key factor, EMF pollution and dirty electricity in particular. Greenwave wants to raise awareness about EMF pollution and to provide people with products and tips for reducing their everyday exposure to this fast-growing environmental contaminant.

Our journey began in 2009 with a focus on DIRTY ELECTRICITY, one particular type of EMF pollution. We developed a meter for measuring the dirty electricity in buildings and plug-in filters to help reduce this type of EMF in homes and other settings. Since opening, we’ve produced and tested six generations of plug-in dirty electricity filters with the goal of continually improving their performance and features. Our filters are safety certified and RoHS compliant. They also offer added features such as a built-In outlet for plug through convenience.

While our primary focus is dirty electricity, we also offer meters and ideas for measuring and addressing other types of EMF pollution, especially radio frequency (RF/MW) radiation from wireless technologies.
