Greenwave Dirty Electricity Filters
Greenwave dirty electricity filters significantly reduce the amount of DIRTY ELECTRICITY (i.e., electrical noise, line noise, EMI) present on the wiring in buildings. This is the most direct, effective, and practical way to clean up this particular type of electropollution. The less dirty electricity there is flowing along building wires, the less that will radiate into your environment.
The filters plug directly into electrical outlets and power strips. They deploy state-of-the-art electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering technology to “short out” (or shunt) erratic surges and spikes of electrical energy (i.e., dirty electricity), while allowing standard electricity to pass through unimpeded.
- Easy to use!
Simply plug the filters into electrical outlets and power strips for immediate results.
- Built-in outlet for plug-through convenience
Most Greenwave filter include a built-in outlet at their base. You can plug electronics and other devices into the filters when you need an outlet.
- Safety certified and environmentally friendly
Greenwave filters are the only dirty electricity filters that are both UL-approved and RoHS compliant. They meet rigorous safety standards and are free of toxic substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and more.
Greenwave Filter Options

Greenwave offers two dirty electricity filters for use within the United States and Canada.
Our standard filter, the Spectrum 2500i, comes with a grounded, 3-prong Type B plug. The Broadband 1500 is available for customers who need dirty electricity filters with 2-prong Type A plugs. Both models include a built-in outlet at their base for plug-through convenience.
The filters can be purchased individually at $30 per filter (for 1 to 7 filters) or $28 per filter (for 8 or more filters). They are also available in a variety of standard kits for homes, schools, and workplace settings.
Spectrum 2500i and Broadband 1500 filters can be used in other countries with Type A or Type B electrical outlets with voltage up to 120V (15A).
Outside the U.S. and Canada (Other Countries)
Greenwave’s Spectrum 2400G filter is currently available for use outside the U.S. and Canada. These dirty electricity filters are compatible with 50/60-Hz AC circuits with voltage up to 240V. They come with a 3-prong,Type B plug, but can be used with plug adapters. They do not include a built-in outlet.
New International Filters Coming Very Soon!
Three more international filter models will be available very soon. These dirty electricity filters will be compatible with Type E and Type F electrical outlets (France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Scandinavia, Russia, and more), Type J outlets (Switzerland), and Type L outlets (Italy). All three models include a built-in outlet. Keep an eye out for these filters in Fall 2016.
How Many Greenwave Filters Do You Need?
For best results, we recommend installing Greenwave filters throughout your environment. The number of dirty electricity filters needed will depend on the size of the building or space where you want to install them (e.g., # of rooms) and on the concentration of electronics, appliances, energy-efficient lights, and other electrical devices in each room.
Here are some general guidelines to help estimate your filter needs. Please keep in mind that these are estimates and provide a good starting place for thinking about the number of filters you will need. See The Difference Greenwave Dirty Electricity Filters Make!
Many people want to know just how much dirty electricity Greenwave filters remove from their wiring. This is easy to see with Greenwave’s Broadband EMI Meter.
Simply plug the meter into electrical outlets to find out how much dirty electricity is present on nearby wiring. The meter can show “BEFORE filter” and “AFTER filter” measurements on the same screen simultaneously, making comparisons simple.
The meter is also an excellent tool for guiding the installation of Greenwave filters. It can help you identify significant sources of dirty electricity in your environment and determine the best number of filters to install in each area for optimal results.
The meter costs $130. It is available at a 15% discount with the purchase of 8 or more Greenwave dirty electricity filters.
